BOASTING OF WRONG
Php 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell
you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in
their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own
lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men’s persons in
admiration because of advantage.
Ps 10:3 For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire, and blesses the
covetous, whom the LORD abhors.
4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God:
God is not in all his thoughts.
12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
64:5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying
snares privately; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the
inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
94:3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of
iniquity boast themselves?
Pr 21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who deals in proud
wrath.
Isa 3:9 The show of their countenance does witness against them; and
they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe to their soul! for
they have rewarded evil to themselves.
10 Say you to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall
eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe to the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands
shall be given him.
5:20 Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for
light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter!
21 Woe to them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own
sight!
22 Woe to them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle
strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of
the righteous from him!
32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them
that hear shall listen.
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of
the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be
bountiful.
Jer 6:14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people
slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? no, they were not
at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among
them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, said
the LORD.
8:12 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? no, they were
not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall
among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast
down, said the LORD.
Mic 7:3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince
asks, and the judge asks for a reward; and the great man, he utters his
mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
Mal 2:17 You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say,
Wherein have we wearied him? When you say, Every one that does evil is good
in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God of
judgment?
