DISTINCTIVE MARKS OF SALVATION:
DESIRE TO DO THE WILL OF GOD

Mt 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Rom 6:16 Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.

7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

De 30:6 And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live.

Ezr 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Ps 18:1 I will love you, O LORD, my strength.

39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.

40:7 Then said I, See, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do your will, O my God: yes, your law is within my heart.

84:1 How amiable are your tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!
2 My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh cries out for the living God.

101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 You have commanded us to keep your precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep your statutes!

119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to your word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments.
11 Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

119:35 Make me to go in the path of your commandments; for therein do I delight.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform your statutes always, even to the end.
136 Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not your law.
145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep your statutes.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not your word.

Pr 22:11 He that loves pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

Jer 32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Eze 9:4 And the LORD said to him, Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the middle thereof.

WORRY ABOUT THE SALVATION OF OTHERS

Rom 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

10:1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

1 Cor 9:19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant to all, that I might gain the more.
20 And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

CONTINUAL CHANGING

Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

1 Ti 4:15 Meditate on these things; give yourself wholly to them; that your profiting may appear to all.

Rev 22:10 And he said to me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
