BLESSING
Mt 14:15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is
a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they
may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said to them, They need not depart; give you them to eat.
17 And they say to him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them here to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the
five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and
broke, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the
multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments
that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and
children.
21:9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying,
Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the
Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke
it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mr 10:16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands on them, and blessed
them.
Lu 1:42 And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among
women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
6:27 But I say to you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which
hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which spitefully use you.
24:50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands,
and blessed them.
51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and
carried up into heaven.
Acts 3:25 You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which
God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in your seed shall all the
kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 To you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you,
in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Rom 12:14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15:28 When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this
fruit, I will come by you into Spain.
29 And I am sure that, when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of
the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
1 Cor 4:11 Even to this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are
naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place;
12 And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being
persecuted, we suffer it:
10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the
blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the
body of Christ?
Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen
through faith, preached before the gospel to Abraham, saying, In you shall
all nations be blessed.
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is
written, Cursed is every one that continues not in all things which are
written in the book of the law to do them.
3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus
Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Heb 6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes oft on it, and
brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing
from God:
8 But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is near to cursing;
whose end is to be burned.
6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no
greater, he swore by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply
you.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who
met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham,
and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and
worshipped, leaning on the top of his staff.
12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one
morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the
blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he
sought it carefully with tears.
1 Pe 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but
contrariwise blessing; knowing that you are thereunto called, that you
should inherit a blessing.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and
multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the
fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing
that moves on the earth.
5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created
man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name
Adam, in the day when they were created.
9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Be fruitful, and
multiply, and replenish the earth.
12:1 Now the LORD had said to Abram, Get you out of your country, and from
your kindred, and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you:
2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your
name great; and you shall be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and
in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.
14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was
the priest of the most high God.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God,
possessor of heaven and earth:
20 And blessed be the most high God, which has delivered your enemies into
your hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
22:15 And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham out of heaven the second
time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, said the LORD, for because you have
done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply
your seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is on the sea
shore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because
you have obeyed my voice.
24:1 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed
Abraham in all things.
26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an
hundred times: and the LORD blessed him.
13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very
great:
27:8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command
you.
9 Go now to the flock, and fetch me from there two good kids of the goats;
and I will make them savoury meat for your father, such as he loves:
10 And you shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, and that he may
bless you before his death.
11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy
man, and I am a smooth man:
12 My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a
deceiver; and I shall bring a curse on me, and not a blessing.
13 And his mother said to him, On me be your curse, my son: only obey my
voice, and go fetch me them.
27:27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his
raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell
of a field which the LORD has blessed:
28 Therefore God give you of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth,
and plenty of corn and wine:
29 Let people serve you, and nations bow down to you: be lord over your
brothers, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you: cursed be every one
that curses you, and blessed be he that blesses you.
30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob,
and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father,
that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.
31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it to his father, and said
to his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that your
soul may bless me.
32 And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he said, I am your son,
your firstborn Esau.
33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that has
taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before you came,
and have blessed him? yes, and he shall be blessed.
34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and
exceeding bitter cry, and said to his father, Bless me, even me also, O my
father.
35 And he said, Your brother came with subtlety, and has taken away your
blessing.
36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he has supplanted me
these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he has taken
away my blessing. And he said, Have you not reserved a blessing for me?
37 And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Behold, I have made him your lord,
and all his brothers have I given to him for servants; and with corn and
wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now to you, my son?
38 And Esau said to his father, Have you but one blessing, my father? bless
me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.
32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the
breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow
of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he
wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaks. And he said, I will not let
you go, except you bless me.
27 And he said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as
a prince have you power with God and with men, and have prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray you, your name. And he
said, Why is it that you do ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was
in the house of his master the Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all
that he did to prosper in his hand.
48:8 And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are these?
9 And Joseph said to his father, They are my sons, whom God has given me in
this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray you, to me, and I will bless
them.
49:25 Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the
Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of
the deep that lies under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
26 The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my
progenitors to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on
the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate
from his brothers.
28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their
father spoke to them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing
he blessed them.
Ex 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you
shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant,
nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your
gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in
them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day,
and hallowed it.
23:25 And you shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless your bread,
and your water; and I will take sickness away from the middle of you.
26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in your land: the
number of your days I will fulfill.
27 I will send my fear before you, and will destroy all the people to whom
you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.
Lev 9:22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them,
and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and
peace offerings.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and
came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared to all
the people.
25:18 Why you shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and
you shall dwell in the land in safety.
19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and you shall eat your fill, and
dwell therein in safety.
20 And if you shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we
shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21 Then I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall
bring forth fruit for three years.
26:3 If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her
increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 And your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach
to the sowing time: and you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in
your land safely.
6 And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall
make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall
the sword go through your land.
7 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the
sword.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put
ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 For I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you,
and establish my covenant with you.
10 And you shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
Num 6:22 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
23 Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, On this wise you shall bless the
children of Israel, saying to them,
24 The LORD bless you, and keep you:
25 The LORD make his face shine on you, and be gracious to you:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance on you, and give you peace.
27 And they shall put my name on the children of Israel, and I will bless
them.
22:6 Come now therefore, I pray you, curse me this people; for they are too
mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and
that I may drive them out of the land: for I know that he whom you bless is
blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.
12 And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse
the people: for they are blessed.
23:5 And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, Return to Balak,
and thus you shall speak.
6 And he returned to him, and, see, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and
all the princes of Moab.
7 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab has brought
me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me
Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
8 How shall I curse, whom God has not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the
LORD has not defied?
9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him:
see, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the
nations.
10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of
Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like
his!
11 And Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I took you to curse
my enemies, and, behold, you have blessed them altogether.
12 And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the
LORD has put in my mouth?
20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he has blessed; and I
cannot reverse it.
24:1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went
not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward
the wilderness.
2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents
according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came on him.
3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor has said, and
the man whose eyes are open has said:
4 He has said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the
Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
5 How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, and your tabernacles, O Israel!
6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as
the trees of lign aloes which the LORD has planted, and as cedar trees
beside the waters.
7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many
waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be
exalted.
8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he has as it were the strength of an
unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their
bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.
9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him
up? Blessed is he that blesses you, and cursed is he that curses you.
De 2:7 For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the works of your hand:
he knows your walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the
LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.
7:13 And he will love you, and bless you, and multiply you: he will also
bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, your corn, and
your wine, and your oil, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your
sheep, in the land which he swore to your fathers to give you.
14 You shall be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female
barren among you, or among your cattle.
15 And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will put none of
the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you; but will lay them on all
them that hate you.
8:17 And you say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand has gotten
me this wealth.
18 But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you
power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to
your fathers, as it is this day.
11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I
command you this day:
28 And a curse, if you will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God,
but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after
other gods, which you have not known.
15:4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly
bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance
to possess it:
5 Only if you carefully listen to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe
to do all these commandments which I command you this day.
6 For the LORD your God blesses you, as he promised you: and you shall lend
to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall reign over many
nations, but they shall not reign over you.
10 You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you
give to him: because that for this thing the LORD your God shall bless you
in all your works, and in all that you put your hand to.
28:1 And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently to the voice
of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I
command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all
nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall
listen to the voice of the LORD your God.
3 Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and
the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your
sheep.
5 Blessed shall be your basket and your store.
6 Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you
go out.
7 The LORD shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be smitten
before your face: they shall come out against you one way, and flee before
you seven ways.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses, and in all
that you set your hand to; and he shall bless you in the land which the LORD
your God gives you.
9 The LORD shall establish you an holy people to himself, as he has sworn to
you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in
his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of
the LORD; and they shall be afraid of you.
11 And the LORD shall make you plenteous in goods, in the fruit of your body,
and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, in the
land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you.
12 The LORD shall open to you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain
to your land in his season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you
shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow.
13 And the LORD shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be
above only, and you shall not be beneath; if that you listen to the
commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day, to observe
and to do them:
14 And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this
day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
15 But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to the voice of the
LORD your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which
I command you this day; that all these curses shall come on you, and
overtake you:
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,
that both you and your seed may live:
1 Sam 2:7 The LORD makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and lifts up.
2 Sam 6:11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the
Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.
12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD has blessed the house of
Obededom, and all that pertains to him, because of the ark of God. So David
went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city
of David with gladness.
1 Ch 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that you would
bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that your hand might be with me,
and that you would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God
granted him that which he requested.
29:12 Both riches and honor come of you, and you reign over all; and in your
hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great, and to give
strength to all.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so
willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of your own have
we given you.
Neh 13:1 On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the
people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite
should not come into the congregation of God for ever;
2 Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but
hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: however, our God
turned the curse into a blessing.
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Does Job fear God for
nothing?
10 Have not you made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all
that he has on every side? you have blessed the work of his hands, and his
substance is increased in the land.
42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for
he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke
of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Ps 3:8 Salvation belongs to the LORD: your blessing is on your people. Selah.
29:11 The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his
people with peace.
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous
forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.
67:1 God be merciful to us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine on us;
Selah.
2 That your way may be known on earth, your saving health among all nations.
84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in you; in whose heart are the
ways of them.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also fills
the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appears
before God.
109:16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor
and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: as he delighted not in
blessing, so let it be far from him.
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it
come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
109:28 Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed;
but let your servant rejoice.
112:1 Praise you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that
delights greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty on earth: the generation of the upright shall be
blessed.
115:12 The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the
house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
118:26 Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you
out of the house of the LORD.
128:1 Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.
2 For you shall eat the labor of your hands: happy shall you be, and it
shall be well with you.
3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your
children like olive plants round about your table.
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.
5 The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of
Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6 Yes, you shall see your children’s children, and peace on Israel.
134:3 The LORD that made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion.
Pr 3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses
the habitation of the just.
10:6 Blessings are on the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of
the wicked.
7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.
10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with
it.
11:26 He that withholds corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall
be on the head of him that sells it.
20:21 An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end
thereof shall not be blessed.
22:9 He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he gives of his bread
to the poor.
28:20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to
be rich shall not be innocent.
30:11 There is a generation that curses their father, and does not bless
their mother.
Ec 5:19 Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has
given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in
his labor; this is the gift of God.
20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answers
him in the joy of his heart.
Isa 19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and
the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the
Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a
blessing in the middle of the land:
25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people,
and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.
44:3 For I will pour water on him that is thirsty, and floods on the dry
ground: I will pour my spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your
offspring:
51:2 Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah that bore you: for I called
him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD
is.
Eze 34:25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the
evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the
wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I
will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of
blessing.
Hag 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, said the LORD of hosts.
2:19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yes, as yet the vine, and the fig tree,
and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this
day will I bless you.
Zec 8:11 But now I will not be to the residue of this people as in the
former days, said the LORD of hosts.
12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the
ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I
will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
13 And it shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the heathen, O
house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and you shall be a
blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
Mal 2:2 If you will not hear, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give
glory to my name, said the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse on you,
and I will curse your blessings: yes, I have cursed them already, because
you do not lay it to heart.
3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me. But you say, Wherein have we
robbed you? In tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole
nation.
10 Bring you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in
my house, and prove me now herewith, said the LORD of hosts, if I will not
open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there
shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy
the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the
time in the field, said the LORD of hosts.
