Mt
16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and
tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from
heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, When it is
evening, you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is
red. 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to
day: for the sky is red and lowering. O you hypocrites, you
can discern the face of the sky; but can you not discern the
signs of the times? 4 A wicked and adulterous generation
seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it,
but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and
departed.
Lu 12:54 And he said also
to the people, When you see a cloud rise out of the west,
straightway you say, There comes a shower; and so it is.
55 And when you see the south wind blow, you say, There will
be heat; and it comes to pass. 56 You hypocrites, you can
discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it
that you do not discern this time?
Antichrist
Mr 13:14 But when you shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where
it ought not, (let him that reads understand,) then let them
that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 15 And let him
that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither
enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: 16 And
let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take
up his garment. 17 But woe to them that are with child,
and to them that give suck in those days! 18 And pray you
that your flight be not in the winter. 19 For in those
days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning
of the creation which God created to this time, neither
shall be. 20 And except that the Lord had shortened those
days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake,
whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days.

Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who
opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or
that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of
God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Remember you not,
that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6
And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in
his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity does already
work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out
of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed,
whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with
all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all
delusion of unrighteousness in them that perish; because
they received not the love of the truth, that they might be
saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they
all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had
pleasure in unrighteousness.
1 Joh 2:18 Little
children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that
antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went
out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been
of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they
went out, that they might be made manifest that they were
not all of us. 22 Who is a liar but he that denies that
Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the
Father and the Son.
4:1 Beloved, believe not every
spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because
many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby
know you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every
spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the
flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist,
whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now
already is it in the world.
2 Joh 1:7 For many
deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an
antichrist.
Rev 11:3 And I will give power to
my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two
hundred and three score days, clothed in sackcloth. 4
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks
standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man
will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and
devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he
must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut
heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and
have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite
the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And
when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast
that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war
against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great
city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where
also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and
kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies
three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead
bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell on the
earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall
send gifts one to another; because these two prophets
tormented them that dwelled on the earth. 11 And after
three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered
into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell
on them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice
from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they ascended
up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the
tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were
slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were
affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
13:1
And I stood on the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up
out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his
horns ten crowns, and on his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like to a leopard, and his
feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth
of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat,
and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it
were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and
all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they
worshipped the dragon which gave power to the beast: and
they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like to the beast?
who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given
to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and
power was given to him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell
in heaven. 7 And it was given to him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over
all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that
dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose names are not
written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world. 9 If any man have an ear, let
him hear. 10 He that leads into captivity shall go into
captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with
the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;
and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
12 And he excercises all the power of the first beast before
him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to
worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come
down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And
deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those
miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should
make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword,
and did live. 15 And he had power to give life to the
image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both
speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image
of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causes all, both
small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a
mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And
that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or
the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here
is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number
of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number
is Six hundred three score and six.
14:9 And the
third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any
man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in
his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of
the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be
tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the
holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the
smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and
they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and
his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. 12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep
the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
15:1
And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven
angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled
up the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a sea of
glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the
victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his
mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of
glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song
of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,
saying, Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God
Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of saints.
4 Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? for
you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship
before you; for your judgments are made manifest.
16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to
the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of
the wrath of God on the earth. 2 And the first went, and
poured out his vial on the earth; and there fell a noisome
and grievous sore on the men which had the mark of the
beast, and on them which worshipped his image.
16:10
And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the seat of the
beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed
their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of
heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented
not of their deeds. 12 And the sixth angel poured out his
vial on the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was
dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be
prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs
come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of
the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which
go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day of God
Almighty. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he
that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked,
and they see his shame.
17:1 And there came one of
the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with
me, saying to me, Come here; I will show to you the judgment
of the great whore that sits on many waters: 2 With whom
the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the
inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine
of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit
into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit on a scarlet
colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven
heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in
purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious
stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of
abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And on
her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,
THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints,
and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw
her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel
said to me, Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery
of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has
the seven heads and ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw
was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit,
and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth
shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of
life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the
beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9 And here is the
mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains,
on which the woman sits. 10 And there are seven kings:
five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come;
and when he comes, he must continue a short space. 11 And
the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and
is of the seven, and goes into perdition. 12 And the ten
horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no
kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the
beast. 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power
and strength to the beast. 14 These shall make war with
the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord
of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are
called, and chosen, and faithful. 15 And he said to me,
The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples,
and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten
horns which you saw on the beast, these shall hate the
whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat
her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put in
their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give
their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God shall be
fulfilled. 18 And the woman which you saw is that great
city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.
19:19
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their
armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat
on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was
taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles
before him, with which he deceived them that had received
the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword
of him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of
his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and
judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that
were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of
God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received his mark on their foreheads, or
in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not
again until the thousand years were finished. This is the
first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that has
part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has
no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years.
20:10 And
the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Dan 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions,
and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong
exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and
broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of
it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before
it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and,
behold, there came up among them another little horn, before
whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the
roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of
man, and a mouth speaking great things. 9 I beheld till
the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit,
whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head
like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and
his wheels as burning fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and
came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered to
him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him:
the judgment was set, and the books were opened. 11 I
beheld then because of the voice of the great words which
the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and
his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. 12 As
concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion
taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and
time.
7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth
beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding
dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass;
which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue
with his feet; 20 And of the ten horns that were in his
head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three
fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that
spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his
fellows. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the
saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient
of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the
most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the
kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the
fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all
kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread
it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out
of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the
first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall
speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out
the saints of the most High, and think to change times and
laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and
times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall
sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and
to destroy it to the end. 27 And the kingdom and
dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole
heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the
most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all
dominions shall serve and obey him.
Blessed ones
Mt 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for
they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do
hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be
filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain
mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall
see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be
called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are
persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you, when men shall
revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of
evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be
exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so
persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
11:6 And blessed is he, whoever shall not be offended in me.
13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your
ears, for they hear. 17 For truly I say to you, That many
prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things
which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those
things which you hear, and have not heard them.
16:17
And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you, but
my Father which is in heaven.
24:45 Who then is a
faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over
his household, to give them meat in due season? 46
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall
find so doing. 47 Truly I say to you, That he shall make
him ruler over all his goods.
Lu 1:45 And
blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a
performance of those things which were told her from the
Lord. 46 And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. 48 For he
has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold,
from now on all generations shall call me blessed.
6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said,
Blessed be you poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. 21
Blessed are you that hunger now: for you shall be filled.
Blessed are you that weep now: for you shall laugh. 22
Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they
shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach
you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s
sake. 23 Rejoice you in that day, and leap for joy: for,
behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like
manner did their fathers to the prophets.
11:27 And
it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman
of the company lifted up her voice, and said to him, Blessed
is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which you have
sucked. 28 But he said, Yes rather, blessed are they that
hear the word of God, and keep it.
12:35 Let your
loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And
you yourselves like to men that wait for their lord, when he
will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks,
they may open to him immediately. 37 Blessed are those
servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching:
truly I say to you, that he shall gird himself, and make
them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve
them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or
come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those
servants.
14:12 Then said he also to him that bade
him, When you make a dinner or a supper, call not your
friends, nor your brothers, neither your kinsmen, nor your
rich neighbors; lest they also bid you again, and a
recompense be made you. 13 But when you make a feast,
call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And
you shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense you: for
you shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard
these things, he said to him, Blessed is he that shall eat
bread in the kingdom of God.
Joh 13:13 You
call me Master and Lord: and you say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet;
you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I have
given you an example, that you should do as I have done to
you. 16 Truly, truly, I say to you, The servant is not
greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than
he that sent him. 17 If you know these things, happy are
you if you do them.
20:28 And Thomas answered and
said to him, My LORD and my God. 29 Jesus said to him,
Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed
are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
Acts 20:33 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold,
or apparel. 34 Yes, you yourselves know, that these hands
have ministered to my necessities, and to them that were
with me. 35 I have showed you all things, how that so
laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the
words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to
give than to receive.

myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for
myself this day before you touching all the things whereof I
am accused of the Jews:
Rom 4:6 Even as David
also describes the blessedness of the man, to whom God
imputes righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed
are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are
covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not
impute sin.
14:22 Have you faith? have it to yourself
before God. Happy is he that comdemns not himself in that
thing which he allows. 23 And he that doubts is damned if
he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatever is not of
faith is sin.
Tit 2:13 Looking for that
blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God
and our Savior Jesus Christ;
Jas 1:12 Blessed
is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he
shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised
to them that love him.
1:25 But whoever looks into
the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being
not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man
shall be blessed in his deed.
5:10 Take, my brothers,
the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for
an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11
Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of
the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that
the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Pe 3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if you be
followers of that which is good? 14 But and if you suffer
for righteousness’ sake, happy are you: and be not afraid of
their terror, neither be troubled;

reproached for the name of Christ, happy are you; for the
spirit of glory and of God rests on you: on their part he is
evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15 But
let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as
an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 16
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be
ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

righteousness shall they be exalted.

Life continues after death
Mt 10:28 And fear not them which
kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather
fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in

Arise, and be not afraid. 8 And when they had lifted up
their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. 9 And as
they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them,
saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be
risen again from the dead. 10 And his disciples asked
him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first
come? 11 And Jesus answered and said to them, Elias truly
shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say to
you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but
have done to him whatever they listed. Likewise shall also
the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples
understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptist.
22:23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say
that there is no resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying,
Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his
brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his
brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brothers: and
the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having
no issue, left his wife to his brother: 26 Likewise the
second also, and the third, to the seventh. 27 And last
of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the
resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they
all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said to them, You do
err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in
marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But
as touching the resurrection of the dead, have you not read
that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 I am the
God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And
when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his
doctrine.
Lu 16:19 There was a certain rich

named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they
which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they
pass to us, that would come from there. 27 Then he said,
I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him to my
father’s house: 28 For I have five brothers; that he may
testify to them, lest they also come into this place of
torment. 29 Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the
prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, No, father
Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will
repent. 31 And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and
the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one
rose from the dead.
23:39 And one of the malefactors
which were hanged railed on him, saying, If you be Christ,
save yourself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked
him, saying, Do not you fear God, seeing you are in the same
condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the
due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing
amiss. 42 And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when

Eternal life and kingdom

men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all
manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in
heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were

6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures
on earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where
thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for
yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust
does corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your
heart be also.

the blessedness of the man, to whom God imputes
righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they
whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we
have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
5:20 Moreover
the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where
sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin
has reigned to death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the
end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.
8:16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if
children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be
also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the
sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19
For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the
manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was
made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him
who has subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the
creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of
corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groans and travails
in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the
adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we
are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for
what a man sees, why does he yet hope for? 25 But if we
hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for
it.
9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and
to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering
the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23 And that
he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels
of mercy, which he had before prepared to glory,

the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to
obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But
when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in
part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke
as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to
face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also

15:42 So also is the resurrection of the
dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in
incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in
glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
2 Cor 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but
though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed
day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for
a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal
weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which
are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the
things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are
not seen are eternal.
5:1 For we know that if our
earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in
the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring
to be clothed on with our house which is from heaven: 3
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being
burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed
on, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now
he that has worked us for the selfsame thing is God, who
also has given to us the earnest of the Spirit. 6
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we
are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident,
I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to
be present with the Lord. 9 Why we labor, that, whether
present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
12:2 I
knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in
the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I
cannot tell: God knows;) such an one caught up to the third
heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or
out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) 4 How that he
was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words,
which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
Gal
3:29 And if you be Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise.
4:6 And because
you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into
your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Why you are no more
a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God

Eph 1:10 That in the

according to the purpose of him who works all things after
the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the

1:13 In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word

1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of

eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may
know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of
the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of
his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
3:5 Which in other ages was not made known to the sons
of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and
prophets by the Spirit; 6 That the Gentiles should be
fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his
promise in Christ by the gospel:
Php 1:21 For
to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I
live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I
shall choose I know not. 23 For I am in a strait between
two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which
is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is
more needful for you.

already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow
after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am
apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brothers, I count not
myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,

Tit 1:2 In hope of

have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,
that by means of death, for the redemption of the
transgressions that were under the first testament, they
which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.
10:34 For you had compassion of me in my
bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing
in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an
enduring substance. 35 Cast not away therefore your
confidence, which has great recompense of reward. 36 For
you have need of patience, that, after you have done the
will of God, you might receive the promise.
11:6 But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
11:10 For
he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder
and maker is God.
11:14 For they that say such things
declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly,
if they had been mindful of that country from where they
came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an
heavenly: why God is not ashamed to be called their God: for
he has prepared for them a city.
11:24 By faith
Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the
son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to suffer
affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the
pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach
of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he
had respect to the recompense of the reward. 27 By faith
he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he
endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
12:22 But
you are come to mount Sion, and to the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company
of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the
firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge
of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
12:28 Why we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let

crown of glory that fades not away.
5:10 But the God
of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by
Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you
perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be
glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
2 Pe
1:10 Why the rather, brothers, give diligence to make your
calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you
shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be
ministered to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new
earth, wherein dwells righteousness. 14 Why, beloved,
seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you

1 Joh 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things

2:25 And this is the promise that he has promised us,

the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the

3:4 You have a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in
white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcomes, the same
shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out
his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his
name before my Father, and before his angels. 6 He that
has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the
churches.
3:12 Him that overcomes will I make a
pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out:
and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of
the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down
out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new
name. 13 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
said to the churches.
3:21 To him that overcomes will
I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also
overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to

7:9 After this I beheld, and, see, a
great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations,
and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and
palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice,
saying, Salvation to our God which sits on the throne, and
to the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the
throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell
before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and
thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God
for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders
answered, saying to me, What are these which are arrayed in
white robes? and from where came they? 14 And I said to
him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which
came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes,
and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him
day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne
shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more,
neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on
them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the
middle of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to
living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes.
14:13 And I heard a voice from
heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die
in the Lord from now on: Yes, said the Spirit, that they may
rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made
herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should
be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine
linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he said to
me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage
supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true
sayings of God.
21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new
earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the
holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with
them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all
tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he
that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and
faithful. 6 And he said to me, It is done. I am Alpha and
Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is
thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He
that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his
God, and he shall be my son.
21:9 And there came to
me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of
the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come
here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10 And
he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high
mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of
God: and her light was like to a stone most precious, even
like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall
great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates
twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the
names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13
On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the
south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And
the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the
names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that
talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and
the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city
lies foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth:
and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand
furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it
are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an
hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure
of a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of
the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold,
like to clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall
of the city were garnished with all manner of precious
stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second,
sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh,
chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the
tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth,
an amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls:
every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the
city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And
I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the
Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of
the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory
of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the
light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory
and honor into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be
shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26
And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into
it. 27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing
that defiles, neither whatever works abomination, or makes a
lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life,
clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of
the Lamb. 2 In the middle of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which
bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every
month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of
the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the
throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his
servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face;
and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there
shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither
light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and
they shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And he said to me,
These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the
holy prophets sent his angel to show to his servants the
things which must shortly be done. 7 Behold, I come
quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the
prophecy of this book.
22:14 Blessed are they that do
his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of
life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and
murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things
in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David,
and the bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and
the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And
let him that is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take
the water of life freely. 18 For I testify to every man
that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any
man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the
plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man
shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,
God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and
out of the holy city, and from the things which are written
in this book. 20 He which testifies these things said,
Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Ps 16:11 You will show me the path of life: in
your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there
are pleasures for ever more.
21:4 He asked life of
you, and you gave it him, even length of days for ever and
ever.
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those
that wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yes,
you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not
be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall
delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:18
The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their
inheritance shall be for ever.
37:27 Depart from
evil, and do good; and dwell for ever more. 28 For the
LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are
preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut
off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell
therein for ever.
73:23 Nevertheless I am continually
with you: you have held me by my right hand. 24 You shall
guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to
glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and there is
none on earth that I desire beside you. 26 My flesh and
my heart fails: but God is the strength of my heart, and my
portion for ever.
Pr 4:18 But the path of the
just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to
the perfect day.
10:25 As the whirlwind passes, so is
the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting
foundation.
11:18 The wicked works a deceitful work:
but to him that sows righteousness shall be a sure reward.
Ec 3:11 He has made every thing beautiful in his
time: also he has set the world in their heart, so that no
man can find out the work that God makes from the beginning
to the end.
Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death
in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off
all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away
from off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it. 9 And
it shall be said in that day, See, this is our God; we have
waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we
have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his
salvation.
60:19 The sun shall be no more your light
by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to
you: but the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and
your God your glory. 20 Your sun shall no more go down;
neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall
be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning
shall be ended. 21 Your people also shall be all
righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch
of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be
glorified.
65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens
and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor
come into mind. 18 But be you glad and rejoice for ever
in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a
rejoicing, and her people a joy.
66:22 For as the new
heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain
before me, said the LORD, so shall your seed and your name

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these
kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall
never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to
other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all
these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
7:13 I
saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of
man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient
of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And
there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that
all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his
dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass
away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom,
and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to
the saints of the most High; and the time came that the
saints possessed the kingdom. 27 And the kingdom and
dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole
heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the
most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all
dominions shall serve and obey him.
12:2 And many of
them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some
to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the
brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Jesus' coming and the last days days
Mt 16:27 For the Son of man
shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and
then he shall reward every man according to his works.
23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the
prophets, and stone them which are sent to you, how often
would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen
gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!
38 Behold, your house is left to you desolate. 39 For I
say to you, You shall not see me from now on, till you shall
say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple:
and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings
of the temple. 2 And Jesus said to them, See you not all
these things? truly I say to you, There shall not be left
here one stone on another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came
to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things
be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the
end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said to them,
Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come
in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that
you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass,
but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against
nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall
they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and
you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one
another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false
prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And
because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold. 13 But he that shall endure to the end, the same
shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall
be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations;
and then shall the end come.
24:15 When you therefore
shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel
the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let
him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee
into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop
not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take
his clothes. 19 And woe to them that are with child, and
to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray you
that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such
as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be
shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the
elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if
any man shall say to you, See, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs,
and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders;
so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very
elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Why if
they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not
forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines
even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles
be gathered together. 29 Immediately after the
tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the
moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they
shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with
power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels
with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of
heaven to the other.
24:32 Now learn a parable of the
fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth
leaves, you know that summer is near: 33 So likewise you,
when you shall see all these things, know that it is near,
even at the doors. 34 Truly I say to you, This generation
shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not
pass away.
24:36 But of that day and hour knows no
man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the
Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the
flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then
shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the
other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch
therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come.
43 But know this, that if the manager of the house had known
in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched,
and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44
Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you
think not the Son of man comes.
25:31 When the Son of
man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with
him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: 32 And
before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall
separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his
sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on
his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall
the King say to them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of
my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world: 41 Then shall he say also to
them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into
everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but
the righteous into life eternal.
26:63 But Jesus held
his peace, And the high priest answered and said to him, I
adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you
be the Christ, the Son of God. 64 Jesus said to him, You
have said: nevertheless I say to you, Hereafter shall you
see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and
coming in the clouds of heaven.
Mr 8:38
Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in
this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the
Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his
Father with the holy angels.
Lu 17:26 And as
it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days
of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they
married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day
that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and
destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they
sold, they planted, they built; 29 But the same day that
Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from
heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be
in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that
day, he which shall be on the housetop, and his stuff in the
house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is
in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32
Remember Lot’s wife. 33 Whoever shall seek to save his
life shall lose it; and whoever shall lose his life shall
preserve it.
19:11 And as they heard these things, he
added and spoke a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem,
and because they thought that the kingdom of God should
immediately appear. 12 He said therefore, A certain
nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a
kingdom, and to return.
21:9 But when you shall hear
of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things
must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 10
Then said he to them, Nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall
be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and
fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the
moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of
nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers
of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the
Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look
up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.
29 And he spoke to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and
all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, you see and
know of your own selves that summer is now near at hand.
31 So likewise you, when you see these things come to pass,
know you that the kingdom of God is near at hand. 32
Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass away,
till all be fulfilled. 33 Heaven and earth shall pass
away: but my words shall not pass away.
23:27 And
there followed him a great company of people, and of women,
which also bewailed and lamented him. 28 But Jesus
turning to them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for
me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. 29
For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall
say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore,
and the breasts which never gave suck. 30 Then shall they
begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills,
Cover us. 31 For if they do these things in a green tree,
what shall be done in the dry?
Joh 14:1 Let
not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also
in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place
for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am,
there you may be also.
Acts 1:6 When they
therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying,
Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to
Israel? 7 And he said to them, It is not for you to know
the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his
own power. 8 But you shall receive power, after that the
Holy Ghost is come on you: and you shall be witnesses to me
both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to
the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken
these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a
cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they
looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two
men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said,
You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven,
shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into
heaven.
3:19 Repent you therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. 20
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached to
you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of
restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth
of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Cor 1:7 So that you come behind in no gift; waiting for
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 Who shall also
confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
4:5 Therefore judge nothing
before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to
light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest
the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have
praise of God.
5:3 For I truly, as absent in body,
but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were
present, concerning him that has so done this deed, 4 In
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered
together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus
Christ, 5 To deliver such an one to Satan for the
destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in
the day of the Lord Jesus.
15:20 But now is Christ
risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them
that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came
also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all
die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But
every man in his own order: Christ the first fruits;
afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then
comes the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom
to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all
rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign,
till he has put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last
enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he has put
all things under his feet. But when he said all things are
put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did
put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be
subdued to him, then shall the Son also himself be subject
to him that put all things under him, that God may be all in
all.
2 Cor 1:13 For we write none other things
to you, than what you read or acknowledge; and I trust you
shall acknowledge even to the end; 14 As also you have
acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as
you also are our’s in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he
which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the
day of Jesus Christ:
1:9 And this I pray, that your
love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all
judgment; 10 That you may approve things that are
excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense till
the day of Christ. 11 Being filled with the fruits of
righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and
praise of God.
2:14 Do all things without murmurings
and disputings: 15 That you may be blameless and
harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the middle of
a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as
lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life;
that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run
in vain, neither labored in vain.
3:20 For our
conversation is in heaven; from where also we look for the
Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our
vile body, that it may be fashioned like to his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even to
subdue all things to himself.
Col 3:3 For you
are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When
Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also
appear with him in glory.
1 Th 1:9 For they
themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had to
you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the
living and true God; 10 And to wait for his Son from
heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which
delivered us from the wrath to come.
2:19 For what is
our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you in
the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? 20
For you are our glory and joy.
3:12 And the Lord make
you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and
toward all men, even as we do toward you: 13 To the end
he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before
God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
with all his saints.
4:15 For this we say to you by
the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain to
the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the
air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
5:1 But
of the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need
that I write to you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that
the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction comes on them, as travail on a woman with child;
and they shall not escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and
I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24
Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.
2 Th 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to
recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 7 And to
you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall
be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In
flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and
that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who
shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the
presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be
admired in all them that believe (because our testimony
among you was believed) in that day.
2:1 Now we
beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and by our gathering together to him, 2 That you
be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by
spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a
falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son
of perdition; 4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Remember you not, that, when I was yet with you, I told
you these things? 6 And now you know what withholds that
he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of
iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let,
until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that
Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the
spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness
of his coming:
1 Tim 6:13 I give you charge in
the sight of God, who vivifies all things, and before Christ
Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good
confession; 14 That you keep this commandment without
spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus
Christ: 15 Which in his times he shall show, who is the
blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of
lords; 16 Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light
which no man can approach to; whom no man has seen, nor can
see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
2 Tim 3:1 This know also, that in the last days
perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of
their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without
natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers,
incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4
Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying
the power thereof: from such turn away.
3:13 But evil
men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and
being deceived.
4:1 I charge you therefore before
God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick
and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. 3
For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to
themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they
shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be
turned to fables.
4:7 I have fought a good fight, I
have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 From
now on there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that
day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love his
appearing.
Tit 2:13 Looking for that blessed
hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our
Savior Jesus Christ;
Heb 9:27 And as it is
appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and
to them that look for him shall he appear the second time
without sin to salvation.
Jas 5:7 Be patient
therefore, brothers, to the coming of the Lord. Behold, the
farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has
long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter
rain. 8 Be you also patient; establish your hearts: for
the coming of the Lord draws near.
1 Pe 1:6
Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious
than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire,
might be found to praise and honor and glory at the
appearing of Jesus Christ:
1:13 Why gird up the loins
of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace
that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus
Christ;
4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning
the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange
thing happened to you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as you
are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory
shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also
an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and
also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive
a crown of glory that fades not away.
2 Pe 3:3
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying,
Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers
fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are
ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of
old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the
water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being
overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and
the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in
store, reserved to fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
3:8 But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as
a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing
that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as
a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein
shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things
shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be
in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for
and hastening to the coming of the day of God, wherein the
heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat?
1 Joh 2:28 And
now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall
appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before
him at his coming.
3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons
of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we
know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for
we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that has this
hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam,
prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten
thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment on all,
and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their
ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all
their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken
against him.
1:17 But, beloved, remember you the
words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord
Jesus Christ; 18 How that they told you there should be
mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own
ungodly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves,
sensual, having not the Spirit.
Rev 1:3
Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of
this prophecy, and keep those things which are written
therein: for the time is at hand. 19 Write the things
which you have seen, and the things which are, and the
things which shall be hereafter;
1:7 Behold, he comes
with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also
which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail
because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the ending, said the Lord, which is, and
which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
2:24
But to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as
have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths
of Satan, as they speak; I will put on you none other
burden. 25 But that which you have already hold fast till
I come.
3:3 Remember therefore how you have received
and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall
not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not
know what hour I will come on you.
3:10 Because you
have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from
the hour of temptation, which shall come on all the world,
to try them that dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I come
quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take
your crown.
4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a
door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard
was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said,
Come up here, and I will show you things which must be
hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and,
behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the
throne.
6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the
seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of
the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and
behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and
a crown was given to him: and he went forth conquering, and
to conquer. 3 And when he had opened the second seal, I
heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there
went out another horse that was red: and power was given to
him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that
they should kill one another: and there was given to him a
great sword. 5 And when he had opened the third seal, I
heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and
see a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of
balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the middle
of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and
three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not
the oil and the wine. 7 And when he had opened the fourth
seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and
see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his
name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
And power was given to them over the fourth part of the
earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death,
and with the beasts of the earth.
6:12 And I beheld
when he had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a
great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of
hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of
heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her
untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled
together; and every mountain and island were moved out of
their places.
8:6 And the seven angels which had the
seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. 7 The first
angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with
blood, and they were cast on the earth: and the third part
of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great
mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the
third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part
of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died;
and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10 And
the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from
heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell on the third
part of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters; 11
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third
part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the
waters, because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth
angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten,
and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the
stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the
day shone not for a third part of it, and the night
likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying
through the middle of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe,
woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the
other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are
yet to sound!
12:1 And there appeared a great wonder
in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under
her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And
she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained
to be delivered. 3 And there appeared another wonder in
heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads
and ten horns, and seven crowns on his heads. 4 And his
tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did
cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the
woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her
child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a
man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:
and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. 6
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a
place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a
thousand two hundred and three score days.
12:12
Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you that dwell in them.
Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the
devil is come down to you, having great wrath, because he
knows that he has but a short time.
12:13 And when
the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted
the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to
the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she
might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is
nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the
face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent cast out of his
mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause
her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth
helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his
mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and
went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep
the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus
Christ.
16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the
temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour
out the vials of the wrath of God on the earth. 2 And the
first went, and poured out his vial on the earth; and there
fell a noisome and grievous sore on the men which had the
mark of the beast, and on them which worshipped his image.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial on the sea; and
it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul
died in the sea.
16:15 Behold, I come as a thief.
Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he
walk naked, and they see his shame.
16:12 And the
sixth angel poured out his vial on the great river
Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way
of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw
three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of
the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of
the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the
spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the
kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to
the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15 Behold,
I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his
garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16
And he gathered them together into a place called in the
Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
16:17 And the seventh angel
poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great
voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying,
It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and
lightning; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not
since men were on the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so
great. 19 And the great city was divided into three
parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon
came in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of
the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20 And every
island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21
And there fell on men a great hail out of heaven, every
stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God
because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof
was exceeding great.
19:11 And I saw heaven opened,
and behold a white horse; and he that sat on him was called
Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and
make war. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed
him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with
me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first
and the last. 20 He which testifies these things said,
Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Job 38:22 Have you entered into the treasures of
the snow? or have you seen the treasures of the hail, 23
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against
the day of battle and war?
Isa 2:19 And they
shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of
the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his
majesty, when he rises to shake terribly the earth. 20 In
that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols
of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to
the moles and to the bats; 21 To go into the clefts of
the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear
of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he rises
to shake terribly the earth. 22 Cease you from man, whose
breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted
of?
24:1 Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and
makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters
abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as
with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so
with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as
with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so
with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the
giver of usury to him. 3 The land shall be utterly
emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD has spoken this
word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world
languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth
do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the
inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the
laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting
covenant. 6 Therefore has the curse devoured the earth,
and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the
inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
24:17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are on you, O
inhabitant of the earth. 18 And it shall come to pass,
that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into
the pit; and he that comes up out of the middle of the pit
shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high
are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. 19
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean
dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth
shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed
like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy
on it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. 21 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish
the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of
the earth on the earth. 22 And they shall be gathered
together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be
shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be
visited. 23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the
sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount
Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of
the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is
spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death in
victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all
faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from
off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it. 9 And it
shall be said in that day, See, this is our God; we have
waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we
have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his
salvation.
26:20 Come, my people, enter you into your
chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it
were for a little moment, until the indignation be over.
21 For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish
the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth
also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her
slain.
57:1 The righteous perishes, and no man lays
it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none
considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil
to come. 2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in
their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Jer 23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until
he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of
his heart: in the latter days you shall consider it
perfectly.
30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall
not return, until he has done it, and until he have
performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you
shall consider it.
Eze 38:1 And the word of
the LORD came to me, saying, 2 Son of man, set your face
against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech
and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 And say, Thus said
the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief
prince of Meshech and Tubal: 4 And I will turn you back,
and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth,
and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed
with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers
and shields, all of them handling swords: 5 Persia,
Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and
helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah
of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people
with you. 7 Be you prepared, and prepare for yourself,
you, and all your company that are assembled to you, and be
you a guard to them. 8 After many days you shall be
visited: in the latter years you shall come into the land
that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of
many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have
been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the
nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. 9 You
shall ascend and come like a storm, you shall be like a
cloud to cover the land, you, and all your bands, and many
people with you. 10 Thus said the Lord GOD; It shall also
come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into
your mind, and you shall think an evil thought: 11 And
you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled
villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell
safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having
neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a
prey; to turn your hand on the desolate places that are now
inhabited, and on the people that are gathered out of the
nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in
the middle of the land. 13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the
merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof,
shall say to you, Are you come to take a spoil? have you
gathered your company to take a prey? to carry away silver
and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great
spoil? 14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog,
Thus said the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel
dwells safely, shall you not know it? 15 And you shall
come from your place out of the north parts, you, and many
people with you, all of them riding on horses, a great
company, and a mighty army: 16 And you shall come up
against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land;
it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring you against
my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be
sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes. 17 Thus said
the Lord GOD; Are you he of whom I have spoken in old time
by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in
those days many years that I would bring you against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall
come against the land of Israel, said the Lord GOD, that my
fury shall come up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and
in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day
there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20
So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven,
and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that
creep on the earth, and all the men that are on the face of
the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains
shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and
every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call
for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, said
the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his
brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence
and with blood; and I will rain on him, and on his bands,
and on the many people that are with him, an overflowing
rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus
will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be
known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that
I am the LORD.
39:1 Therefore, you son of man,
prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus said the Lord GOD;
Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech
and Tubal: 2 And I will turn you back, and leave but the
sixth part of you, and will cause you to come up from the
north parts, and will bring you on the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite your bow out of your left hand, and will
cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand. 4 You
shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your
bands, and the people that is with you: I will give you to
the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the
field to be devoured. 5 You shall fall on the open field:
for I have spoken it, said the Lord GOD. 6 And I will
send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly
in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7
So will I make my holy name known in the middle of my people
Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any
more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the
Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it is come, and it is done,
said the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.
9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go
forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the
shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the
hand staves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with
fire seven years: 10 So that they shall take no wood out
of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for
they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil
those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them,
said the Lord GOD. 11 And it shall come to pass in that
day, that I will give to Gog a place there of graves in
Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea:
and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there
shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall
call it The valley of Hamongog. 12 And seven months shall
the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may
cleanse the land. 13 Yes, all the people of the land
shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day
that I shall be glorified, said the Lord GOD. 14 And they
shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through
the land to bury with the passengers those that remain on
the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven
months shall they search. 15 And the passengers that pass
through the land, when any sees a man’s bone, then shall he
set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the
valley of Hamongog. 16 And also the name of the city
shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17
And, you son of man, thus said the Lord GOD; Speak to every
feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble
yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my
sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great
sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat
flesh, and drink blood. 18 You shall eat the flesh of the
mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of
rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them
fatted calves of Bashan. 19 And you shall eat fat till
you be full, and drink blood till you be drunken, of my
sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 Thus you
shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with
mighty men, and with all men of war, said the Lord GOD.
21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the
heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my
hand that I have laid on them. 22 So the house of Israel
shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and
forward. 23 And the heathen shall know that the house of
Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they
trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them,
and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they
all by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and
according to their transgressions have I done to them, and
hid my face from them. 25 Therefore thus said the Lord
GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have
mercy on the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for
my holy name; 26 After that they have borne their shame,
and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed
against me, when they dwelled safely in their land, and none
made them afraid. 27 When I have brought them again from
the people, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands,
and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;
28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which
caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but
I have gathered them to their own land, and have left none
of them any more there. 29 Neither will I hide my face
any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit on the
house of Israel, said the Lord GOD.
Dan 2:31
You, O king, saw, and behold a great image. This great
image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before you; and
the form thereof was terrible. 32 This image’s head was
of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly
and his thighs of brass, 33 His legs of iron, his feet
part of iron and part of clay. 34 You saw till that a
stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image on
his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to
pieces. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the
silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became
like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind
carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the
stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and
filled the whole earth. 36 This is the dream; and we will
tell the interpretation thereof before the king. 37 You,
O king, are a king of kings: for the God of heaven has given
you a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And
wherever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field
and the fowls of the heaven has he given into your hand, and
has made you ruler over them all. You are this head of gold.
39 And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to
you, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear
rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall
be strong as iron: for as much as iron breaks in pieces and
subdues all things: and as iron that breaks all these, shall
it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas you saw the
feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the
kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the
strength of the iron, for as much as you saw the iron mixed
with miry clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part
of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly
strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas you saw iron
mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the
seed of men: but they shall not join one to another, even as
iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these
kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall
never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to
other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all
these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 For as
much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain
without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the
brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God has
made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter:
and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof
sure.
7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of
Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his
bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the
matters. 2 Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by
night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove on
the great sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the
sea, diverse one from another. 4 The first was like a
lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof
were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made
stand on the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to
it. 5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear,
and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs
in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said
thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh. 6 After this I
beheld, and see another, like a leopard, which had on the
back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four
heads; and dominion was given to it. 7 After this I saw
in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful
and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron
teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the
residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the
beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I
considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them
another little horn, before whom there were three of the
first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this
horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking
great things. 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down,
and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as
snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his
throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning
fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before
him: thousand thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand
times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set,
and the books were opened. 11 I beheld then because of
the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld
even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and
given to the burning flame. 12 As concerning the rest of
the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their
lives were prolonged for a season and time. 13 I saw in
the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came
with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days,
and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was
given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all
people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his
dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass
away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the middle of my
body, and the visions of my head troubled me. 16 I came
near to one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth
of all this. So he told me, and made me know the
interpretation of the things. 17 These great beasts,
which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the
earth. 18 But the saints of the most High shall take the
kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and
ever. 19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast,
which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful,
whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which
devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with his
feet; 20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and
of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even
of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very
great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and
prevailed against them; 22 Until the Ancient of days
came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom on earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms,
and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down,
and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this
kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall
rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and
he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great
words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints
of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and
they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and
the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and
they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy
it to the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the
greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be
given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose
kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall
serve and obey him. 28 Till now is the end of the matter.
As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my
countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my
heart.
9:24 Seventy weeks are determined on your
people and on your holy city, to finish the transgression,
and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for
iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to
seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most
Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the
going forth of the commandment to restore and to build
Jerusalem to the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks,
and three score and two weeks: the street shall be built
again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And
after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall
come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end
thereof shall be with a flood, and to the end of the war
desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it
desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined
shall be poured on the desolate.
11:40 And at the
time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and
the king of the north shall come against him like a
whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many
ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall
overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the
glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but
these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and
the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch
forth his hand also on the countries: and the land of Egypt
shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the
treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious
things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be
at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of
the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth
with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between
the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to
his end, and none shall help him.
12:1 And at that
time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands
for the children of your people: and there shall be a time
of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even
to that same time: and at that time your people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the
book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the
earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise
shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and
ever. 4 But you, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal
the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and
fro, and knowledge shall be increased. 5 Then I Daniel
looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this
side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of
the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed
in linen, which was on the waters of the river, How long
shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard
the man clothed in linen, which was on the waters of the
river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to
heaven, and swore by him that lives for ever that it shall
be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have
accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all
these things shall be finished.
12:8 And I heard, but
I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the
end of these things? 9 And he said, Go your way, Daniel:
for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the
end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and
tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the
wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken
away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there
shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12
Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three
hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go you your way
till the end be: for you shall rest, and stand in your lot
at the end of the days.
Joel 2:20 But I will
remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive
him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward
the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and
his stink shall come up, and his ill smell shall come up,
because he has done great things. 28 And it shall come to
pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old
men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those
days will I pour out my spirit. 30 And I will show
wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire,
and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into
darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and
terrible day of the LORD come. 32 And it shall come to
pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall
be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be
deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom
the LORD shall call.
3:1 For, behold, in those days,
and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of
Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will also gather all nations,
and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and
will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage
Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and
parted my land. 3 And they have cast lots for my people;
and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for
wine, that they might drink.
3:9 Proclaim you this
among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let
all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10 Beat
your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into
spears: let the weak say, I am strong. 11 Assemble
yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves
together round about: thither cause your mighty ones to come
down, O LORD. 12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up
to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge
all the heathen round about. 13 Put you in the sickle,
for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press
is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the
day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. 15 The
sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall
withdraw their shining. 16 The LORD also shall roar out
of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens
and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of
his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
17 So shall you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in
Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and
there shall no strangers pass through her any more. 18
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains
shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with
milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters,
and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the
LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

4:11 Then answered I, and said to him, What are these
two olive trees on the right side of the candlestick and on
the left side thereof? 12 And I answered again, and said
to him, What be these two olive branches which through the
two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Know you not what these be?
And I said, No, my lord. 14 Then said he, These are the
two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole
earth.
12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for
Israel, said the LORD, which stretches forth the heavens,
and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit
of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup
of trembling to all the people round about, when they shall
be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone
for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be
cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be
gathered together against it. 4 In that day, said the
LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his
rider with madness: and I will open my eyes on the house of
Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with
blindness. 5 And the governors of Judah shall say in
their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my
strength in the LORD of hosts their God. 6 In that day
will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire
among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and
they shall devour all the people round about, on the right
hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again
in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7 The LORD also
shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the
house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem
do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8 In that day
shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he
that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and
the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD
before them. 9 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come
against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour on the house of
David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of
grace and of supplications: and they shall look on me whom
they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one
mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him,
as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. 11 In
that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as
the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. 12
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of
the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family
of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 13
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives
apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and
their wives apart.
13:8 And it shall come to pass,
that in all the land, said the LORD, two parts therein shall
be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will
refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold
is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them:
I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is
my God.
14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, and
your spoil shall be divided in the middle of you. 2 For I
will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the
city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women
ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into
captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut
off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and
fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of
battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day on the
mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and
the mount of Olives shall split in the middle thereof toward
the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very
great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward
the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And you
shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of
the mountains shall reach to Azal: yes, you shall flee, like
as you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah
king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the
saints with you. 6 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 7 But it
shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day,
nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time
it shall be light.
14:12 And this shall be the plague
with which the LORD will smite all the people that have
fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away
while they stand on their feet, and their eyes shall consume
away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in
their mouth. 13 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and
they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor,
and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth
of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together,
gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. 15 And
so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the
camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be
in these tents, as this plague. 16 And it shall come to
pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to
worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast
of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, that whoever will not
come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to
worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even on them shall be
no rain.

Creature will be renovated

creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of

adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we

Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be
turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall
be esteemed as a forest? 18 And in that day shall the
deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind
shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19 The
meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor
among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light
of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as
the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up

Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with
vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save
you. 5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and
the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the
lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing:
for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in
the desert. 7 And the parched ground shall become a pool,
and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of
dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and
rushes. 8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and
it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall
not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring
men, though fools, shall not err therein. 9 No lion shall
be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it
shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to
Zion with songs and everlasting joy on their heads: they
shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall
flee away.
51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he
will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her
wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the
LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving,
and the voice of melody.

according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new
earth, wherein dwells righteousness.

Mt 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those

all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the
Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and

shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying,
Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said,
Truly I say to you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore,
for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of
man comes.
Lu 17:34 I tell you, in that night
there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken,
and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be
grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other
left. 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be

is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and

And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in

work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out

Millennial Kingdom
Mt 19:27 Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold, we
have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have
therefore? 28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you,
That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when
the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you
also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes
of Israel.

he that comes in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the
kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the
Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

honorable counselor, which also waited for the kingdom of

dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and
bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the
bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, that
he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed
a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on
them, and judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for
the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark on their
foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned
with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead
lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that
has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death
has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of
Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed
out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the
nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog,
and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of
whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the
breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints
about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out
of heaven, and devoured them.
Ps 46:8 Come,
behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made
in the earth. 9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the
earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in sunder; he
burns the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that
I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be

Isa 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son
of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2 And it
shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of
the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the
mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all
nations shall flow to it. 3 And many people shall go and
say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of
his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion
shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from
Jerusalem. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and
shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords
into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation
shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they
learn war any more.
4:2 In that day shall the branch
of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the
earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are
escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he
that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem,
shall be called holy, even every one that is written among
the living in Jerusalem: 4 When the Lord shall have
washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall
have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the middle thereof
by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
5 And the LORD will create on every dwelling place of mount
Zion, and on her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and
the shining of a flaming fire by night: for on all the glory
shall be a defense. 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for
a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of
refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the
leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the
young lion and the fatted calf together; and a little child
shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed;
their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall
eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play
on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his
hand on the cockatrice’ den. 9 They shall not hurt nor
destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full
of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which
shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the
Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. 11 And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his
hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt,
and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from
Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall
assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the
dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt
to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the
Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with
the Assyrians. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third
with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the middle
of the land: 25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless,
saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of
my hands, and Israel my inheritance.
29:17 Is it not
yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a
fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as
a forest? 18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the
words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out
of obscurity, and out of darkness. 19 The meek also shall
increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall
rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. 20 For the terrible
one is brought to nothing, and the scorner is consumed, and
all that watch for iniquity are cut off: 21 That make a
man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that
reproves in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of
nothing. 22 Therefore thus said the LORD, who redeemed
Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now
be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. 23 But
when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in the
middle of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the
Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel. 24
They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding,
and they that murmured shall learn doctrine.
30:26
Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the
sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the
light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the
breach of his people, and heals the stroke of their wound.
32:15 Until the spirit be poured on us from on high, and
the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field
be counted for a forest. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in
the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful
field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace;
and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for
ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable
habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting
places;
33:20 Look on Zion, the city of our
solemnities: your eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet
habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not
one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither
shall any of the cords thereof be broken. 21 But there
the glorious LORD will be to us a place of broad rivers and
streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall
gallant ship pass thereby. 22 For the LORD is our judge,
the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save
us. 23 Your tacklings are loosed; they could not well
strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then
is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the
prey. 24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the
people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad
for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the
rose. 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even
with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given to
it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the
glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God. 3
Strengthen you the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear
not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God
with a recompense; he will come and save you. 5 Then the
eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf
shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an
hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness
shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. 7 And
the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land
springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each
lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. 8 And an
highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called
The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but

of Lebanon shall come to you, the fir tree, the pine tree,
and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary;
and I will make the place of my feet glorious. 14 The
sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending to
you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves
down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The
city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. 15
Whereas you has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went
through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of
many generations. 16 You shall also suck the milk of the
Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: and you shall
know that I the LORD am your Savior and your Redeemer, the
mighty One of Jacob. 17 For brass I will bring gold, and
for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for
stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and your
exactors righteousness. 18 Violence shall no more be
heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your
borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your
gates Praise. 19 The sun shall be no more your light by
day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light to
you: but the LORD shall be to you an everlasting light, and
your God your glory. 20 Your sun shall no more go down;
neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall
be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning
shall be ended. 21 Your people also shall be all
righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch
of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be
glorified. 22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a
small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his
time.
62:1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace,
and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the
righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the
salvation thereof as a lamp that burns. 2 And the
Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your
glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the
mouth of the LORD shall name. 3 You shall also be a crown
of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the
hand of your God. 4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken;
neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you
shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the
LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5
For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons
marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so
shall your God rejoice over you. 6 I have set watchmen on
your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace
day nor night: you that make mention of the LORD, keep not
silence, 7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and
till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 8 The LORD
has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength,
Surely I will no more give your corn to be meat for your
enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink your
wine, for the which you have labored: 9 But they that
have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they
that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts
of my holiness. 10 Go through, go through the gates;
prepare you the way of the people; cast up, cast up the
highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the
people. 11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of
the world, Say you to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your
salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his
work before him. 12 And they shall call them, The holy
people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called,
Sought out, A city not forsaken.
65:17 For, behold, I

Jer 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when
you be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days,
said the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the
covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither
shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither
shall that be done any more. 17 At that time they shall
call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations
shall be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD, to
Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the
imagination of their evil heart. 18 In those days the
house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they
shall come together out of the land of the north to the land
that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers.

in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods. 26 And I will
make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and
I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there
shall be showers of blessing.
Hos 2:16 And it
shall be at that day, said the LORD, that you shall call me
Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali. 17 For I will take
away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no
more be remembered by their name. 18 And in that day will
I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and
with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of
the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the
battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down
safely. 19 And I will betroth you to me for ever; yes, I
will betroth you to me in righteousness, and in judgment,
and in loving kindness, and in mercies. 20 I will even
betroth you to me in faithfulness: and you shall know the
LORD. 21 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will
hear, said the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall
hear the earth; 22 And the earth shall hear the corn, and
the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. 23
And I will sow her to me in the earth; and I will have mercy
on her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them
which were not my people, You are my people; and they shall
say, You are my God.
3:4 For the children of Israel
shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince,
and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without
an ephod, and without teraphim: 5 Afterward shall the
children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and
David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness
in the latter days.
Joel 3:17 So shall you
know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy
mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no
strangers pass through her any more. 18 And it shall come
to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new
wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers
of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come
forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the
valley of Shittim. 19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and
Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence
against the children of Judah, because they have shed
innocent blood in their land. 20 But Judah shall dwell
for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. 21
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for
the LORD dwells in Zion.
Mic 4:1 But in the
last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the
house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the
mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and
people shall flow to it. 2 And many nations shall come,
and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us
of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law
shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from
Jerusalem. 3 And he shall judge among many people, and
rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their
swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks:
nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither
shall they learn war any more. 4 But they shall sit every
man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall
make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has
spoken it. 5 For all people will walk every one in the
name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD
our God for ever and ever. 6 In that day, said the LORD,
will I assemble her that halts, and I will gather her that
is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; 7 And I
will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast
far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them
in mount Zion from now on, even for ever. 8 And you, O
tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion,
to you shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom
shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of
the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that
is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard
that God is with you.
14:8 And it shall be in that
day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of
them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the
hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And
the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall
there be one LORD, and his name one. 10 All the land
shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of
Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her
place, from Benjamin’s gate to the place of the first gate,
to the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel to the
king’s winepresses. 11 And men shall dwell in it, and
there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem
shall be safely inhabited.
14:16 And it shall come to
pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which
came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to
worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast
of tabernacles. 17 And it shall be, that whoever will not
come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to
worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even on them shall be
no rain. 18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and
come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, with
which the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to
keep the feast of tabernacles. 19 This shall be the
punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that
come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 20 In that
day shall there be on the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO
THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the
bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem
and in Judah shall be holiness to the LORD of hosts: and all
they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe
therein: and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Judgments
Mt 7:1 Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with
what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what
measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.
10:14 And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your
words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off
the dust of your feet. 15 Truly I say to you, It shall be
more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day
of judgment, than for that city.
11:20 Then began he
to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were
done, because they repented not: 21 Woe to you, Chorazin!
woe to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were
done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would
have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I
say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at
the day of judgment, than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum,
which are exalted to heaven, shall be brought down to hell:
for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had
been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say to you, That it shall be more tolerable for the
land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.
12:36 But I say to you, That every idle word that men shall
speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of
judgment. 37 For by your words you shall be justified,
and by your words you shall be condemned.
12:38 Then
certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered,
saying, Master, we would see a sign from you. 39 But he
answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation
seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it,
but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was
three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall
the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart
of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in
judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because
they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a
greater than Jonas is here. 42 The queen of the south
shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and
shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of
the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a
greater than Solomon is here.
16:27 For the Son of
man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
19:27 Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold, we
have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have
therefore? 28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you,
That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when
the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you
also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes
of Israel.
25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a
man traveling into a far country, who called his own
servants, and delivered to them his goods. 15 And to one
he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to
every man according to his several ability; and straightway
took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five
talents went and traded with the same, and made them other
five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two,
he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one
went and dig in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19
After a long time the lord of those servants comes, and
reckons with them. 20 And so he that had received five
talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord,
you delivered to me five talents: behold, I have gained
beside them five talents more. 21 His lord said to him,
Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been
faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many
things: enter you into the joy of your lord. 22 He also
that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you
delivered to me two talents: behold, I have gained two other
talents beside them. 23 His lord said to him, Well done,
good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few
things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you
into the joy of your lord. 24 Then he which had received
the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are
an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering
where you have not strewed: 25 And I was afraid, and went
and hid your talent in the earth: see, there you have that
is yours. 26 His lord answered and said to him, You
wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I
sowed not, and gather where I have not strewed: 27 You
ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and
then at my coming I should have received my own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him
which has ten talents. 29 For to every one that has shall
be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has
not shall be taken away even that which he has. 30 And
cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
25:31 When
the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy
angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his
glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd
divides his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the
sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34
Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, Come, you
blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an
hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave
me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: 36 Naked,
and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in
prison, and you came to me. 37 Then shall the righteous
answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and
fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink? 38 When saw we
you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
39 Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came to you?
40 And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to
you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of
these my brothers, you have done it to me. 41 Then shall
he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and
his angels: 42 For I was an hungered, and you gave me no
meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink: 43 I was a
stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you clothed me
not: sick, and in prison, and you visited me not. 44 Then
shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an
hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or
in prison, and did not minister to you? 45 Then shall he
answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did
it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but
the righteous into life eternal.
26:24 The Son of man
goes as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom
the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if
he had not been born. 25 Then Judas, which betrayed him,
answered and said, Master, is it I? He said to him, You have
said.
Mr 12:38 And he said to them in his
doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long
clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 39
And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost
rooms at feasts: 40 Which devour widows’ houses, and for
a pretense make long prayers: these shall receive greater
damnation.
Lu 8:17 For nothing is secret, that
shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that
shall not be known and come abroad. 18 Take heed
therefore how you hear: for whoever has, to him shall be
given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even
that which he seems to have.
12:2 For there is
nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid,
that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have
spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that
which you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be
proclaimed on the housetops.
12:47 And that servant,
which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself,
neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many
stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things
worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to
whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and
to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the
more.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into
the world to condemn the world; but that the world through
him might be saved. 18 He that believes on him is not
condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light
is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than
light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one
that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light,
lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that does
truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made
manifest, that they are worked in God. 36 He that
believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that
believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of
God stays on him.
5:22 For the Father judges no man,
but has committed all judgment to the Son: 23 That all
men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He
that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent
him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, He that hears my
word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting
life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death to life. 25 Truly, truly, I say to you, The
hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the
voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to
the Son to have life in himself; 27 And has given him
authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of
man.
12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe
not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but
to save the world. 48 He that rejects me, and receives
not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have
spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had
sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach to the people,
and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be
the Judge of quick and dead. 43 To him give all the
prophets witness, that through his name whoever believes in
him shall receive remission of sins.
17:30 And the
times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all
men every where to repent: 31 Because he has appointed a
day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness
by that man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given
assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the

temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and

Rom
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the
truth in unrighteousness;
2:1 Therefore you are
inexcusable, O man, whoever you are that judge: for wherein
you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you that judge
do the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment
of God is according to truth against them which commit such
things. 3 And think you this, O man, that judge them
which do such things, and do the same, that you shall escape
the judgment of God?
2:4 Or despise you the riches of
his goodness and forbearance and long-suffering; not knowing
that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But
after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to
yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of
the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every
man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient
continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and
immortality, eternal life: 8 But to them that are
contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and
anguish, on every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew
first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honor, and
peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and
also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of
persons with God.
2:12 For as many as have sinned
without law shall also perish without law: and as many as
have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the
doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the
Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things
contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law
to themselves: 15 Which show the work of the law written
in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and
their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one
another;) 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets
of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
3:5
But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God,
what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance?
(I speak as a man) 6 God forbid: for then how shall God
judge the world? 7 For if the truth of God has more
abounded through my lie to his glory; why yet am I also
judged as a sinner? 8 And not rather, (as we be
slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let
us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak
through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness
of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It
is God that justifies. 34 Who is he that comdemns? It is
Christ that died, yes rather, that is risen again, who is
even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession
for us.
11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the
wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his
judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who has
known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counselor?
35 Or who has first given to him, and it shall be
recompensed to him again? 36 For of him, and through him,
and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
13:2 Whoever therefore resists the power, resists the
ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to
themselves damnation.
14:10 But why do you judge your
brother? or why do you set at nothing your brother? for we
shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11
For it is written, As I live, said the Lord, every knee
shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to
God.
1 Cor 3:10 According to the grace of God
which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid
the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every
man take heed how he builds thereupon. 11 For other
foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus
Christ. 12 Now if any man build on this foundation gold,
silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every
man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare
it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall
try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s
work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a
reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall
suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by
fire.
4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I
should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yes, I judge
not my own self. 4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I
not hereby justified: but he that judges me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord
come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of
darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts:
and then shall every man have praise of God.
5:11 But
now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man
that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an
idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortionist;
with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do
to judge them also that are without? do not you judge them
that are within? 13 But them that are without God judges.
Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go
to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do
you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if
the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge
the smallest matters? 3 Know you not that we shall judge
angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be
judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of
the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
2 Cor 5:10 For we must all appear before the
judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the
things done in his body, according to that he has done,
whether it be good or bad.
11:13 For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into
the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan
himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end
shall be according to their works.
Gal 6:7 Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows,
that shall he also reap. 8 For he that sows to his flesh
shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the
Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And
let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we
shall reap, if we faint not.
Col 3:25 But he
that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has

4:1 I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus
Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his

man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition

sins, being condemned of himself.
Hebr 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than
any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder
of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13
Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his
sight: but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of

the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to
perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance
from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the
doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of
resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And
this will we do, if God permit.
9:27 And as it is
appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:
10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more
sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for
of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the
adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without
mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer
punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has
trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood
of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy
thing, and has done despite to the Spirit of grace? 30
For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs to me, I
will recompense, said the Lord. And again, The Lord shall
judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into
the hands of the living God.
13:4 Marriage is
honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and
adulterers God will judge.
Jas 2:12 So speak
you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of
liberty. 13 For he shall have judgment without mercy,
that has showed no mercy; and mercy rejoices against
judgment.
3:1 My brothers, be not many masters,
knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
4:17 Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it
not, to him it is sin.

where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the
people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who
privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the
Lord that bought them, and bring on themselves swift
destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious
ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil
spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with
feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of
a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but
cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of
darkness, to be reserved to judgment; 5 And spared not
the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher
of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the
ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha
into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an
ensample to those that after should live ungodly;
2:7
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation
of the wicked: 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among
them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from
day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 9 The Lord knows
how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve
the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:
3:5
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of
God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of
the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the
heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are
kept in store, reserved to fire against the day of judgment
and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as
a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
1 Joh 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we
may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is,
so are we in this world.
Jude 1:4 For there
are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old
ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the
grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only
Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore
put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that
the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the
angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under
darkness to the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as
Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like
manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going
after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering
the vengeance of eternal fire.
1:14 And Enoch also,
the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold,
the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To
execute judgment on all, and to convince all that are
ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they
have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which
ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and
she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed,
and them that commit adultery with her into great
tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I
will kill her children with death; and all the churches
shall know that I am he which searches the reins and hearts:
and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
11:18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath is
come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
and that you should give reward to your servants the
prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name,
small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the
earth.
19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a
white horse; and he that sat on him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and
judgment was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that
were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of
God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his
image, neither had received his mark on their foreheads, or
in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the
dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave
up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered
up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were
cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15
And whoever was not found written in the book of life was
cast into the lake of fire.
22:12 And, behold, I come
quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man
according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
1 Sam 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not
arrogance come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of
knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.
Job
4:7 Remember, I pray you, who ever perished, being innocent?
or where were the righteous cut off? 8 Even as I have
seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the
same.
21:22 Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he
judges those that are high.
34:10 Therefore listen to
me you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he
should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should
commit iniquity. 11 For the work of a man shall he render
to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Yes, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the
Almighty pervert judgment.
34:21 For his eyes are on
the ways of man, and he sees all his goings. 22 There is
no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of
iniquity may hide themselves. 23 For he will not lay on
man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with
God.
Ps 9:7 But the LORD shall endure for
ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment. 8 And he
shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister
judgment to the people in uprightness.
10:3 For the
wicked boasts of his heart’s desire, and blesses the
covetous, whom the LORD abhors. 4 The wicked, through the
pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is
not in all his thoughts. 5 His ways are always grievous;
your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all
his enemies, he puffs at them. 6 He has said in his
heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in
adversity.
10:12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up your
hand: forget not the humble. 13 Why does the wicked scorn
God? he has said in his heart, You will not require it.
18:25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful;
with an upright man you will show yourself upright; 26
With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the
fraudulent you will show yourself devious. 27 For you
will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high
looks.
58:11 So that a man shall say, Truly there is
a reward for the righteous: truly he is a God that judges in
the earth.

for you render to every man according to his work.

3:17 I
said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the
wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for
every work.
8:5 Whoever keeps the commandment shall
feel no evil thing: and a wise man’s heart discerns both
time and judgment. 6 Because to every purpose there is
time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great on
him.
11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in your youth; and
let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk
in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes:
but know you, that for all these things God will bring you

the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for

Isa 2:4 And
he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many
people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift
up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any
more.
3:9 The show of their countenance does witness
against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide
it not. Woe to their soul! for they have rewarded evil to
themselves. 10 Say you to the righteous, that it shall be
well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe to the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the
reward of his hands shall be given him.
11:1 And
there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a
Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of
the LORD shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit
of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall
make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and
he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither
reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with
righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with
equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the
earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his
lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall
be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of

59:18 According to their deeds,
accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries,
recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay
recompense.
Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful
above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to
give every man according to his ways, and according to the
fruit of his doings.
Dan 7:10 A fiery stream
issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands
ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood
before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to
the saints of the most High; and the time came that the
saints possessed the kingdom.
Hos 10:12 Sow to
yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your
fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come
and rain righteousness on you. 13 You have plowed
wickedness, you have reaped iniquity; you have eaten the
fruit of lies: because you did trust in your way, in the
multitude of your mighty men.
Mal 2:17 You
have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, Wherein
have we wearied him? When you say, Every one that does evil
is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them;
or, Where is the God of judgment?
Judgment according to light
Mt 11:20 Then began he to upbraid
the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done,
because they repented not: 21 Woe to you, Chorazin! woe
to you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done
in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have
repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I say to
you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the
day of judgment, than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum,
which are exalted to heaven, shall be brought down to hell:
for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had
been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say to you, That it shall be more tolerable for the
land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.
12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this
generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at
the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is
here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the
judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she
came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the
wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is
here.
Lu 12:47 And that servant, which knew
his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did
according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of
stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomsoever
much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom
men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Joh 15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them,
they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their
sin.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which
have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the
law, these, having not the law, are a law to themselves:
15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts,
their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to
him it is sin.
Resurrection
Mt 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the
Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from
you. 39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and
adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no
sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the
whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and
three nights in the heart of the earth.
16:21 From
that time forth began Jesus to show to his disciples, how
that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the
elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be
raised again the third day.
22:23 The same day came
to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no
resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses
said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall
marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. 25 Now
there were with us seven brothers: and the first, when he
had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his
wife to his brother: 26 Likewise the second also, and the
third, to the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died
also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall
she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus
answered and said to them, You do err, not knowing the
scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the
resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage,
but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as
touching the resurrection of the dead, have you not read
that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 I am the
God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And
when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his
doctrine.
27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a
loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the
veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the
bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints
which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after
his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared
to many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were
with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those
things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly
this was the Son of God.
28:11 Now when they were
going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and
showed to the chief priests all the things that were done.
12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had
taken counsel, they gave large money to the soldiers, 13
Saying, Say you, His disciples came by night, and stole him
away while we slept. 14 And if this come to the
governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. 15
So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and
this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this
day.
Lu 14:12 Then said he also to him that
bade him, When you make a dinner or a supper, call not your
friends, nor your brothers, neither your kinsmen, nor your
rich neighbors; lest they also bid you again, and a
recompense be made you. 13 But when you make a feast,
call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And
you shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense you: for
you shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Joh 2:18 Then answered the Jews and said to him,
What sign show you to us, seeing that you do these things?
19 Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and
in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews,
Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will
you raise it up in three days? 21 But he spoke of the
temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was risen from
the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this to
them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which
Jesus had said.
5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour
is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall
hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have
done good, to the resurrection of life; and they that have
done evil, to the resurrection of damnation.
6:38 For
I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will
of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father’s will
which has sent me, that of all which he has given me I
should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the
last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me,
that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may
have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last
day.
10:17 Therefore does my Father love me, because
I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man
takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power
to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This
commandment have I received of my Father. 19 There was a
division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
11:23 Jesus said to her, Your brother shall rise again.
24 Martha said to him, I know that he shall rise again in
the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said to her, I
am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whoever
lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?
27 She said to him, Yes, Lord: I believe that you are the
Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
20:1 The first day of the week comes Mary Magdalene
early, when it was yet dark, to the sepulcher, and sees the
stone taken away from the sepulcher. 2 Then she runs, and
comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus
loved, and said to them, They have taken away the LORD out
of the sepulcher, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and
came to the sepulcher. 4 So they ran both together: and
the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the
sepulcher. 5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw
the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 6 Then comes
Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulcher, and
sees the linen clothes lie, 7 And the napkin, that was
about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but
wrapped together in a place by itself. 8 Then went in
also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulcher,
and he saw, and believed. 9 For as yet they knew not the
scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
Acts 1:21 Why of these men which have companied with us
all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
22 Beginning from the baptism of John, to that same day that
he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a
witness with us of his resurrection. 23 And they
appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed
Justus, and Matthias.
2:24 Whom God has raised up,
having loosed the pains of death: because it was not
possible that he should be held of it. 25 For David
speaks concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my
face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be
moved: 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue
was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27
Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you
suffer your Holy One to see corruption. 28 You have made
known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy
with your countenance. 29 Men and brothers, let me freely
speak to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead
and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day. 30
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn
with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins,
according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on
his throne; 31 He seeing this before spoke of the
resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell,
neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus has
God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
3:14 But
you denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer
to be granted to you; 15 And killed the Prince of life,
whom God has raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
4:1 And as they spoke to the people, the priests, and
the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came on them,
2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached
through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. 33 And with
great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of
the Lord Jesus: and great grace was on them all.
10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both
in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew
and hanged on a tree: 40 Him God raised up the third day,
and showed him openly; 41 Not to all the people, but to
witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and
drink with him after he rose from the dead.
13:29 And
when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they
took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulcher.
30 But God raised him from the dead: 31 And he was seen
many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to
Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people. 32 And we
declare to you glad tidings, how that the promise which was
made to the fathers, 33 God has fulfilled the same to us
their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it
is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this
day have I begotten you. 34 And as concerning that he
raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to
corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure
mercies of David. 35 Why he said also in another psalm,
You shall not suffer your Holy One to see corruption. 36
For David, after he had served his own generation by the
will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid to his fathers, and
saw corruption: 37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no
corruption.
17:31 Because he has appointed a day, in
the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that
man whom he has ordained; whereof he has given assurance to
all men, in that he has raised him from the dead. 32 And
when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some
mocked: and others said, We will hear you again of this
matter.
23:6 But when Paul perceived that the one
part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out
in the council, Men and brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son
of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am
called in question. 7 And when he had so said, there
arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees:
and the multitude was divided. 8 For the Sadducees say
that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit:
but the Pharisees confess both. 9 And there arose a great
cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose,
and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a
spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight
against God.
24:14 But this I confess to you, that
after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God
of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the
law and in the prophets: 15 And have hope toward God,
which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a
resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. 20
Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil
doing in me, while I stood before the council, 21 Except
it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them,
Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in
question by you this day.
25:18 Against whom when the
accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such
things as I supposed: 19 But had certain questions
against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus,
which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise
made of God, to our fathers: 7 To which promise our
twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to
come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of
the Jews. 8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible
with you, that God should raise the dead?
26:22
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue to this
day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other
things than those which the prophets and Moses did say
should come: 23 That Christ should suffer, and that he
should be the first that should rise from the dead, and
should show light to the people, and to the Gentiles. 24
And as he thus spoke for himself, Festus said with a loud
voice, Paul, you are beside yourself; much learning does
make you mad.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written
for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But
for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on
him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who
was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our
justification.
6:4 Therefore we are buried with him
by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up
from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been
planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be
also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6:8 Now if
we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live
with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the
dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died to sin once: but in that he
lives, he lives to God. 11 Likewise reckon you also
yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
8:11 But if the Spirit
of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he
that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.
8:22
For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in
pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the
adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
8:34
Who is he that comdemns? It is Christ that died, yes rather,
that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God,
who also makes intercession for us.
1 Cor 6:14
And God has both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up
us by his own power.
15:3 For I delivered to you
first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that
he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of
Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of
above five hundred brothers at once; of whom the greater
part remain to this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the
apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of
one born out of due time.
15:12 Now if Christ be
preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you
that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if
there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not
risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our
preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yes, and
we are found false witnesses of God; because we have
testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised
not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the
dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if
Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; you are yet in
your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in
Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope
in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
15:20
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first
fruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came
death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the
first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his
coming.
15:29 Else what shall they do which are
baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are
they then baptized for the dead? 30 And why stand we in
jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest by your rejoicing which
I have in Christ Jesus our LORD, I die daily. 32 If after
the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what
advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and
drink; for to morrow we die. 33 Be not deceived: evil
communications corrupt good manners.
15:42 So also is
the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it
is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonor; it
is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in
power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a
spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body.
15:50 Now this I say, brothers, that
flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither
does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I show
you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be
changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this
corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal
shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory. 55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where
is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the
strength of sin is the law.
2 Cor 4:13 We
having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written,
I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe,
and therefore speak; 14 Knowing that he which raised up
the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall
present us with you.
5:14 For the love of Christ
constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for
all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all,
that they which live should not from now on live to
themselves, but to him which died for them, and rose again.
Eph 1:20 Which he worked in Christ, when he
raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand
in the heavenly places,
Php 3:10 That I may
know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the
fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his
death; 11 If by any means I might attain to the
resurrection of the dead.
3:20 For our conversation
is in heaven; from where also we look for the Savior, the
Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body,
that it may be fashioned like to his glorious body,
according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue
all things to himself.
Col 1:17 And he is
before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And
he is the head of the body, the church: who is the
beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things
he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the
Father that in him should all fullness dwell;

1 Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be
ignorant, brothers, concerning them which are asleep, that
you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For
if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For
this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain to the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with
the Lord.
2 Tim 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ
of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to
my gospel:
2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings:
for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their
word will eat as does a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and
Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying
that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the
faith of some.
Heb 11:35 Women received their
dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not
accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better
resurrection:
1 Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his
abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1:21 Who
by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead,
and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in
God.
3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism does
also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the
flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 22 Who is gone into
heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and

1 Joh 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it
does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when
he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him
as he is. 3 And every man that has this hope in him
purifies himself, even as he is pure.
Rev 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the
first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of
the earth. To him that loved us, and washed us from our sins
in his own blood,
1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at
his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand on me, saying
to me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he
that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for ever
more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment
was given to them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
neither had received his mark on their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not
again until the thousand years were finished. This is the
first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that has
part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has
no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Job
14:5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his
months are with you, you have appointed his bounds that he
cannot pass; 6 Turn from him, that he may rest, till he
shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day. 7 For there is
hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout
again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.
8 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the
stock thereof die in the ground; 9 Yet through the scent
of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.
10 But man dies, and wastes away: yes, man gives up the
ghost, and where is he? 11 As the waters fail from the
sea, and the flood decays and dries up: 12 So man lies
down, and rises not: till the heavens be no more, they shall
not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. 13 O that
you would hide me in the grave, that you would keep me
secret, until your wrath be past, that you would appoint me
a set time, and remember me! 14 If a man die, shall he
live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait,
till my change come.
Ps 16:10 For you will not
leave my soul in hell; neither will you suffer your Holy One
to see corruption.
Isa 26:19 Your dead men
shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise.
Awake and sing, you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as
the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which stands for the children of your
people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never
was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at
that time your people shall be delivered, every one that
shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them
that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to
everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the
brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 13 But go
you your way till the end be: for you shall rest, and stand
in your lot at the end of the days.
Resurrection body
Lu 24:36 And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood
in the middle of them, and said to them, Peace be to you.
37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that
they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said to them, Why are
you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle
me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you
see me have. 40 And when he had thus spoken, he showed
them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet
believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have
you here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a
broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43 And he took it, and
did eat before them.
Joh 20:19 Then the same
day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the
doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear
of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the middle, and said to
them, Peace be to you. 20 And when he had so said, he
showed to them his hands and his side. Then were the
disciples glad, when they saw the LORD. 24 But Thomas,
one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when
Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him,
We have seen the LORD. But he said to them, Except I shall
see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger
into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his
side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again
his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came
Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the middle, and
said, Peace be to you. 27 Then said he to Thomas, Reach
here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your
hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but
believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said to him, My
LORD and my God.
1 Cor 15:35 But some man will
say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they
come? 36 You fool, that which you sow is not quickened,
except it die: 37 And that which you sow, you sow not
that body that shall be, but bore grain, it may chance of
wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God gives it a body
as it has pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of
flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes,
and another of birds. 40 There are also celestial bodies,
and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is
one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the
moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs
from another star in glory. 42 So also is the
resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is
raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonor; it is
raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in
power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a
spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also
that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also
that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of
the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
