BEING CONTENT WITH SIMPLE CONDITIONS
Lu 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what
shall we do? And he said to them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any
falsely; and be content with your wages.
12:29 And seek not you what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, neither
be you of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your
Father knows that you have need of these things.
Rom 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high
things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own
conceits.
Php 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in
whatever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and
in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to
abound and to suffer need.
1 Tim 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry
nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave
you, nor forsake you.
Ec 5:10 He that loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor
he that loves abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is
there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
