FAITH AND HEALING
Mt 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that
followed, Truly I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in
Israel.
13 And Jesus said to the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed,
so be it done to you. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve
years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be
whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of
good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole
from that hour.
9:27 And when Jesus departed there, two blind men followed him, crying, and
saying, You son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus
said to them, Believe you that I am able to do this? They said to him, Yes,
Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it to you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straightly charged them, saying,
See that no man know it.
15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried
to him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is
grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and sought him,
saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the
house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread,
and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from
their masters’ table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, O woman, great is your faith: be it
to you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain
man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for often
he falls into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how
long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child
was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast
him out?
20 And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you,
If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain,
Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be
impossible to you.
Mr 5:35 While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the
synagogue’s house certain which said, Your daughter is dead: why trouble you
the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he said to the ruler of
the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
6:4 But Jesus, said to them, A prophet is not without honor, but in his own
country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands on a few
sick folk, and healed them.
6 And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the
villages, teaching.
9:22 And often it has cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to
destroy him: but if you can do any thing, have compassion on us, and help
us.
23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him
that believes.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears,
Lord, I believe; help you my unbelief.
25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul
spirit, saying to him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you, come out of
him, and enter no more into him.
16:15 And he said to them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel
to every creature.
16 He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not
shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they
cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall
not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Joh 11:39 Jesus said, Take you away the stone. Martha, the sister of
him that was dead, said to him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has
been dead four days.
40 Jesus said to her, Said I not to you, that, if you would believe, you
should see the glory of God?
14:10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the
words that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells
in me, he does the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe
me for the very works’ sake.
12 Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works that I do
shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to
my Father.
Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name has made this man
strong, whom you see and know: yes, the faith which is by him has given him
this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, weak in his feet, being a
cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:
9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving
that he had faith to be healed,
10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on your feet. And he leaped and
walked.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the
father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall your
seed be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead,
when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s
womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong
in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to
perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
2 Cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen.
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord
shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven
him.
