EVERYTHING IS GIFT
Mt 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at
hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely
you have received, freely give.
Lu 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle,
will say to him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down
to meat?
8 And will not rather say to him, Make ready with which I may sup, and gird
yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you
shall eat and drink?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded
him? I trow not.
10 So likewise you, when you shall have done all those things which are
commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which
was our duty to do.
Joh 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it
be given him from heaven.
4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it
is that said to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked of him, and he
would have given you living water.
15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that stays in me, and I in him,
the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptized every one
of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many
as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the
gift of the Holy Ghost.
11:17 For as much then as God gave them the like gift as he did to us, who
believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us
all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to every man that is among
you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to
think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,
whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given
to us of God.
4:6 And these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and
to Apollos for your sakes; that you might learn in us not to think of men
above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against
another.
7 For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did
not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not
received it?
12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I would not have you ignorant.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which
works all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit with.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word
of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by
the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another
discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the
interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every
man severally as he will.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
4:7 But to every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the
gift of Christ.
8 Why he said, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and
gave gifts to men.
Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and
comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no ficklenss, neither
shadow of turning.
2 Pe 1:3 According as his divine power has given to us all things
that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has
called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by
these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the
corruption that is in the world through lust.
Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These
things said he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David,
he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;
8 I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man
can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have
not denied my name.
1 Sam 2:7 The LORD makes poor, and makes rich: he brings low, and
lifts up.
8 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the
dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of
glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he has set the world
on them.
1 Ch 29:12 Both riches and honor come of you, and you reign over all;
and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great,
and to give strength to all.
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so
willingly after this sort? for all things come of you, and of your own have
we given you.
Ps 75:7 But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.
Dan 4:31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice
from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom
is departed from you.
32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the
beasts of the field: they shall make you to eat grass as oxen, and seven
times shall pass over you, until you know that the most High rules in the
kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will.
33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar: and he was
driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the
dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his
nails like birds’ claws.
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes to heaven,
and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the most High, and I
praised and honored him that lives for ever, whose dominion is an
everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he does
according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of
the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say to him, What do you?
36 At the same time my reason returned to me; and for the glory of my
kingdom, my honor and brightness returned to me; and my counsellors and my
lords sought to me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent
majesty was added to me.
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all
whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride
he is able to abase.
5:18 O you king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom,
and majesty, and glory, and honor:
19 And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages,
trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he
kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.
20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was
deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the
beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass
like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that
the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appoints over it
whomsoever he will.
22 And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, though you
knew all this;
