JESUS, THE IMAGE OF THE FATHER
Joh 6:27 Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which
endures to everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give to you: for him
has God the Father sealed.
8:19 Then said they to him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You
neither know me, nor my Father: if you had known me, you should have known
my Father also.
10:28 And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither
shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to
pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
14:7 If you had known me, you should have known my Father also: and from now
on you know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip said to him, Lord, show us the Father, and it suffises us.
9 Jesus said to him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not
known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how say you
then, Show us the Father?
10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words
that I speak to you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me,
he does the works.
Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every
creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past to
the fathers by the prophets,
2 Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir
of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
Isa 63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his
presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he
bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
