THE MEANING OF NAME

Mt 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Lu 1:13 But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zacharias: for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elisabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

22 And God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and opened her womb.

24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, The LORD shall add to me another son.

28 And he said, Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince have you power with God and with men, and have prevailed.
