RESISTING OF THE DEVIL
Mt 4:10 Then said Jesus to him, Get you hence, Satan: for it is
written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
11 Then the devil leaves him, and, behold, angels came and ministered to him.
16:23 But he turned, and said to Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you are an
offense to me: for you mind not the things that be of God, but those that be
of men.
Mr 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name
shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Lu 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even
the devils are subject to us through your name.
Eph 6:10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the
power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Why take to you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on
the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is
the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he
will flee from you.
1 Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as
a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brothers that are in the world.
