THE WRATH OF GOD
Mt 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to
his baptism, he said to them, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to
flee from the wrath to come?
Joh 3:36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he
that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God stays on
him.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness;
2:5 But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself
wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of
God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor
and immortality, eternal life:
8 But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall
we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from
wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of
his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
9:22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath:
for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, said the Lord.
Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these
things comes the wrath of God on the children of disobedience.
Col 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are on the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and
covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of
disobedience:
1 Th 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from
the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
2:16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to
fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come on them to the uttermost.
5:9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ,
Heb 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with
them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich
men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every slave, and every
free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the
face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
11:18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come, and the time of
the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give reward to
your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name,
small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth.
15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels
having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
7 And one of the four beasts gave to the seven angels seven golden vials
full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.
